Harbour View is located in the Newquay town centre and approximately 2 minutes walk to the harbour and Towan beach, making this a great location for families and couples a like. The harbour beach is great for families as it is just a cove for bathing where you can if you are lucky take in the spectales of the local seals. Towan is a family friendly beach too that allows body boarding in the main season, but when the tide is out you can walk the stretch of the coast right up to Lusty Glaze Beach (please check the tide times before doing so).

If you prefer to stay local there is a great local family pub called The Mermaid which serves good value food and drink, and over the road a good quality but reasonably priced restaurant. Porth beach is approximately 2 miles out of Newquay town centre, which makes it easy to access all the amenities and attractions in the town either by foot, bus or car. Porth beach is great for families as it allows no surfing during the main season, but don't let this put you off if you do surf as Whipsiderry (good surf spot) is just a walk way up the hill and then further on is Watergate Bay with its extreme sports, including kit surfing. Waterage Bay has become famous for being the Cornish home to Jamie Oliver's inspired 'Fifteen' restaurant, try to book in advance if you can. Approximately 15 miles from Padstow with its quaint fishing harbour and 'Rick Stein's' seafood restaurant where booking is a must especially during peak season.

Surfbeach apartments are situated on the Pentire headland overlooking the famous Fistral beach. Literally across the road from the apartments are steps leading directly onto the beach where you will find surf schools for all abilities, as well as a brand new visitor centre offering toilet, shower and locker facilities as well as a restaurant with fantastic views over the beach.

There is also a bus station which has regular local and national bus links. If approaching by car from the A30 and following the A3074 on approaching Carbis Bay turn left after passing apartments called Roach’s Court onto Trencrom Lane and continue along the lane for ¼ mile. If approaching by car from the A30 and following the A3074 on approaching Carbis Bay turn left after passing apartments called Roach’s Court onto Trencrom Lane and continue along the lane for ¼ mile.
